As all houses vary in size and spec we need to inspect and evaluate each job (and each window) to find the best options available for you and your budget.
Our quotations give a full breakdown and assessment on the condition of your sliding sashes, so call for a free estimate.
With new sash frames you have the option of single glazing or double glazing.
We provide toughened or laminate glass on single and double glazed units.
In our double glazed units we use Elite glass - 136% more thermal efficient than standard argon-filled double glazed units. The spacer bar - the strip in the middle of double-glazing (see above picture) - comes in a variety of colours, black is popular as it creates a shadow gap making it hard to even tell if the sashes have been double glazed.
We can replace the two windows frames in each box, double-glaze them, fit new beading with a weather carrier (see picture above) ensuring draught-free windows and instal new furniture, brass or chrome (2 sash lifts, and a lockable fastener)
If you have more than 6 windows we may be able to offer you a discount. Call Neil on 07812 025255
With new sash frames in existing boxes we provide:
New double-glazed frames fitted with Elite Glazing and toughened glass
Frames primed and professionally spray-painted before glazing
New furniture - a lockable fastener, pulleys - where applicable - and sash lifts
New staff and parting bead with a weather carrier/brush pile
All old sashes removed
To draught-proof existing sashes, repair damage and fix joins etc, each sash window usually costs around £350 - £600 per box
This is a rough guide and discount can be negotiated if the job if your sashes are in good condition.
